Lovely Indian Media

I had deep interest towards reading newspaper since my schooldays.I did my schooling from rural area and was fond of Danik Jagaran(Hindi News Paper).I used to love the editorial page in the good old days(even today I like). After completing my 10th examination,I got admission in MG Inter College and had no choice other than to stay in the hostel as College was around 80km from my village.I continued to read the Danik Jagaran almost daily(except during exam time)in hostel also.I had great respect for the media and I use to believe what all have been written in the newspaper as in my Innocent opinion(that time)that journalist can not be biased/inclined towards any political party/any institution/organization.I moved to Delhi for the preparation for the civil services however, soon I decided to take the admission in the MSc(Chemistry) from Jamia Millia Islamia.I decided to subscribe the English newspaper(TOI)and later I opted for the Hindu(heard that Editorial is really good).I continued to take "The Hindu" for one year but at some point I doubted that whether this paper is pro-communist and anti-BJP.My intelligence used to question my faith in media and after some months of fight between "Intelligence" and "Faith" finally intelligence proved that its intelligent. Some time I used to smell Anti-India and Pro-China stand in this newspaper. Finally,I stopped taking newspaper and after that I have never bought "The Hindu" paper.

  1. It's nice to know that you have faith in Media but I must tell you that almost all the media organisations support some of the political prties. This is the bitter truth about Indian media. There are rare journalists who are still continuing in the profession sticking to the ethics and social responsibilities of media.
